Covid-19 Update

May 22, 2020

Dear Liberty Dental Family,

We miss you all and hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health, safety and over all well-being.

Governor Whitmer announced that dental offices can begin to resume routine care and we are very excited to see everyone again beginning June 1, 2020.

We have been working very hard to reopen with new safeguards and protocols. As you have seen during your previous visits to the office, infection control and cleanliness has always been a top priority. We are following all guidelines and recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). We follow the activities of these agencies daily so we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Here are some of the changes you will notice at your next visit:

  • We will do a pre-health screening via an online form before your visit and will take your temperature when you arrive at the office.
  • We ask that when you arrive for your appointment, you call and wait in your car for entry into our facility.
  • We ask you to come alone to your appointment unless accompanying a minor.
  • All people entering the building MUST wear a face covering.
  • You will be asked to use provided hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the facility.
  • Appointments will be spaced apart to allow for social distancing between patients. This means you may be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

During the first phase of reopening, we need to focus on patients that have developed urgent and emergent needs. We will do our best to accommodate as many patients as possible but this may mean that we ask some to reschedule their existing appointments. We will transition into our new normal as quickly as possible and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will begin contacting patients next week and ask that you wait for us to reach out to you. This will help keep our phone lines open and expedite the process. Feel free to email the office at if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime.

Thank you for being our patient! We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
